The external area of the Potenza RE050A tread improves control on a dry road surface, including when turning at high speed. The inner region of the tread increases the grip on a wet road and allows you to effectively remove water from the contact spot.
According to Bridgestone, the use of techniques of racing tires means that the Potenza RE050A provides 60% of F1 grip, while the majority of conventional tires provides approximately 35% grip compared with the tires for the race.
Potenza RE050 tires are supplied as the primary set for the Alfa Romeo 156, 159 and Brera, Aston Martin DB9, Porsche 911 and Maserati Gran Turismo, BWW 1, 3, 5 and 6 series, Z4 iMini, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and 599 GTB Fiorano, Audi A4, A5 and TT.
