Continental Tires

    Continental Company was founded in 1871. One of the most significant years in the company history was the year 1882 when the Continental emblem was created. It was the image of a reared-up horse that was initially a part of Saxony emblem. That image was taken because the capital of Saxony was Hanover, the city where the company was created.

    So, the Continental Company produces tires for motor cars and trucks, buses, off-road vehicles, motorcycles and even for bicycles. Every forth European car has Continental tires. Rubber developments by Continental are used not only in tire business but in other science branches. They showed the best directional stability quality on the dry surface and perfect harmonic marking.

    Continental ContiPremiumContact is a summer tire for passenger cars belonging to medium- and high-class segment. It shows excellent performance combining enhanced traction when going round corners or driving in a straight line, great hydroplaning resistance and reliable braking performance on both wet and dry road surfaces. The tire compound is optimized for foul weather and is molded into asymmetrical tread picture. The tire tread is divided into three differently designed zones performing different functions. The outer tread is responsible for cornering performance, great steering precision, and ensures your car’s good road-holding ability. It consists of large smooth tread blocks. Closed tire shoulders zones alongside with a diamond-shaped tread picture ensure even load distribution over the footprint area. Central tread area features arrow-shaped grooves provide for effective braking on dry and wet asphalt roads. There’re also wide drainage grooves in central tread area, which in conjunction with open shoulder design on the inner tread helps prevent from hydroplaning by evacuating water from under the contact patch area.
