    Kumho Company started their work in South Korea in 1961 by producing high quality tires for various fields of use.

    In 1991 the most authoritative American magazine "Tire Business" said that Kumho came into the top 10 world tire producers and in the February of 2000 according to the same journal Kumho took the 9th place in the 75 tire companies rating. But the company is not satisfied with its rating place and that’s why they permanently drive away the manufacturing production quality.

    The Kumho engineers draw great attention to casing design and its reliability and safety. The Kuhmo models line presents sport high speed tires, comfort class tires and the casing for off-road vehicles.

    Kumho summer and winter tires are always great examples of high quality and long exploitation.

    Among the country achievements is sport Ecsta SPT KU31 tire, which comes even in 275/30 R20 size. The last Kumho product is ECSTA STX summer tire and KW 19 and Kumho KW 11 winter tires that are developed with the computer-aided design application and the use of a special rubber compounding in tire studs that is specially adapted to northern countries.

    KUMHO has signed a 5-year contract with Circuit Park Zandvoort and became the official tire outfitter for Marlboro Masters Formula-3. According to the deal The Korean producer is both to supply Formula-3 with their ECSTA tires for 50 autos and to give a technical support at the well-known Netherlands competitions.

    The Kuhmo tires are valuable all over the world for their treadware, reliability, directional stability and safety.

    Kumho Solus KH14 is a summer tire for passenger cars. It belongs to a budget tire segment yet shows good road-holding ability, stable straight-line and cornering performance as well as quiet running and quality braking performance. The tire is designed for use with sports-like coups and sedans and sometimes comes as Original Equipment with such cars so it can be bought to replace a worn set or pair of original tires. The Solus KH14 features symmetric tread pattern with a stiff central rib to ensure your car’s predictable performance during a high-speed driving. Its system of sipes and grooves is optimized for foul weather. Four wide circumferential grooves, for instance, effectively remove water from under the footprint area, which helps avoid hydroplaning effect. Its silica-based rubber compound improves traction in the wet as well. The tire shoulders are large and solid to provide for predictable cornering. Central tread area design in conjunction with peculiarly-shaped shoulder blocks enhance driver comport by lowering the level of noise the tire generates on the road. The Solus KH14 comes with T and S speed ratings.
