    Michelin Latitude Alpin tire is a winter tire for SUVs. The tire offers an excellent combination of high comfort level, long service life and outstanding traction on wet, snow- and ice-covered surface. Latitude Alpin uses an innovative Helio Compound (with the addition of suflower oil) and a directional tread pattern with a continuous central rib, independent intermediate and shoulder blocks that provide superb directional stability on dry surface and high hydroplaning resistance level on snow, slush and ice. Bi-directional self-locking sipes provide multiple biting edges necessary for confident traction on icy road. Internally Latitude Alpin uses dual steel belts enhanced by polyamide cord for higher durability and polyester cord for improved comfort.
