    Yokohama Advan A048 tire is a summer tire for passenger cars. The tire was designed exclusively for the participation in different racing events. The key advantages of the tire are precise steering, exceptional braking performance and outstanding grip. The rubber compound of Advan A048 was developed exclusively for the operation in track conditions. The single-block tread pattern ensures continuous contact with the road surface thus providing superb cornering stability and response. Internally the tire includes dual steel belts enhanced by nylon plies. Advan A048 is used for the original equipment of Lotus Elise Sport. However it is not intended to be driven on wet surface due to the high risk of hydroplaning.
