This ultra high performance run-flat tire was designed exclusively for the drivers of Chevrolet Corvette. The run-flat system enables the tire to continue riding even after complete loss of pressure.

Firehawk SZ50 EP RFT offers an excellent combination of ultimate steering response and outstanding traction both on dry and wet surface.
The tire is manufactured with the use of UNI-TAQ technology (Ultimate Tire Technology, Advanced Quality). The EP abbreviation stands for Extended Performance.

Firehawk SZ50 EP RFT uses special Dual-Layer Tread that consists of two rubber compounds and V-shaped directional tread pattern. When the top tread layer wears to the half of its depth the inner layer offers more effective wet traction. This technology enables exceptional traction on wet surface throughout the whole service life of the tire.

Internally the tire uses dual steel belts enhanced by nylon ply that ensure ultimate stability at high speeds.
