A continuous intermediate rib and a shoulder rib are divided by wide circumferential grooves that ensure effective withdrawal of water from the contact patch what in its turn promotes perfect traction on wet surface.

Internally Potenza RE-11 uses dual steel belts enhanced by nylon strip for improved durability and directional stability at high speeds.
