Bridgestone Potenza RE040 RFT tire is a summer tire for passenger cars.

The tire belongs to Ultra High Performance segment and is used for the original equipment of such sport sedans and coupes as BMW 3-Series, Audi TT, Lexus SC430 and Acura NSX.

Potenza RE040 RFT is manufactured with the use of run-flat technology that allows to continue riding even after a complete loss of pressure due to a puncture.

The tire provides an excellent combination of outstanding traction, superb steering response and confident steering both on dry and wet surface.

Potenza RE040 RFT uses a special rubber compound that ensures high traction level. Directional tread pattern has a central rib and massive rectangular tread blocks that provide ultimate traction on dry surface, excellent directional stability at high speeds and exceptional steering response.

Circumferential and lateral grooves effectively evacuate water from the contact patch thus increasing hydroplaning resistance level.
