Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice tire is a winter tire for passenger cars.

The main advantage of the tire is its exceptional traction even in the most unfavorable winter conditions.

Ultra Grip Ice uses directional tread pattern with independent tread blocks. The blocks have multiple sipes that effectively withdraw water and slush from the contact patch thus increasing hydroplaning resistance level what in its turn promotes outstanding wet traction.

The layout of blocks of different sizes ensures high noiselessness level and high level of comfort.

Ultra Grip Ice uses a special dual-layer rubber compound (Ice Over Winter compound) that comprises a rubber compound on the base of silica and special polymers for exceptional traction on ice surface and a conventional rubber compound lying beneath.

When the upper layer wears away the second compound is revealed to provide confident winter traction for the rest of the tire’s service life.
