Continental 4x4 WinterContact Tire

Season: Winter Tires

Car Type: SUV

Description:

Continental 4x4 WInterContact tire is a winter tire for SUVs.

The tire belongs to Light Truck/SUV Performance segment and has been developed for those drivers of SUVs who look for excellent traction on dry, wet and snow-covered surface.

4x4 WinterContact offers an excellent combination of superb traction with outstanding high-speed winter driving performance.

The tire uses innovative rubber compound on the base of silica and an asymmetric tread pattern with wide roundish outer shoulder blocks that facilitate steering control on dry surface. Intermediate tread blocks also promote steering performance of the tire.

Wide circumferential and lateral grooves efficiently withdraw water from the footprint thus increasing hydroplaning resistance level what in its turn ensures confident wet traction.

Tread blocks have numerous progressive sipes that provide biting edges necessary for outstanding traction and braking performance on ice-covered surface.
