The tread pattern of the tire features independent intermediate and shoulder blocks as well as a continuous central rib. The combination of these elements improves traction on dry road surface and promotes high treadwear resistance level.

Numerous crosscut sipes provide biting edges necessary for confident wet traction while wide circumferential grooves effectively withdraw water from the contact patch thus increasing hydroplaning resistance level.

The internal structure of Grandtrek AT20 includes dual steel belts that stabilize the tread and a Dimensionally Stable polyester cord that facilitates longer service life and provides higher level of comfort.
