Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin is an asymmetric summer tire showing great traction and superb performance. Its title speaks for itself – the tire comes to deliver maximum pleasure when driving at a high speed.

The tire is designed for street racers, style fans and for active people in general. The leader of developers was Formula-1 ex-pilot Stefano Modena who aimed at creating a tire with maximum traction and quickest steering response possible. These goals were successfully implemented; braking and cornering performance was improved as well.  

The Potenza RE001 has asymmetrical tread picture clearly separated into two parts. Inner tread is cut into longitudinal grooves for excellent speeding up performance while outer tread features V-shaped grooves to improve wet traction as they can effectively remove water from under the contact patch area.

Large and stiff shoulder blocks provide for reliable handling while 2 steel belts and full spiral caps with a continuous nylon wrap ensure durability and long life span. There’s also a rim guard in the outer shoulder, which adds to the tire’s wear resistance.
