Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 is a high-performance summer tire for passenger cars. It is optimized for high-speed driving and is aimed at most hard-to-please customers who want to get maximum traction and safe maneuvering in one package.
The tire’s compound is molded into directional V-shaped tread picture, which helps quickly and effectively pump out water out of the contact patch area. Lateral longitudinal grooves reduce hydroplaning and enhance wet traction while wide tread improves handling and grip. Moreover, such tread pattern helps achieve lower level of noise than it would be otherwise possible.
The tire’s inner construction was developed with wheel damage prevention in mind. A high-tech belt with a seamless upper nylon layer provide for extra durability necessary for driving at high speeds. There’s a steel layer under the nylon for enhanced stability on sharp corners.
The new silica-based rubber compound provides for reliable traction in the wet as well as in the dry.
Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 tire comes with the following speed ratings: H (130 mph), V (150 mph), W (167 mph) and ZR (more than 150 mph in low-profile mode).
