Sumitomo ST908 is an all-season radial truck tire designed for a driving axle of your vehicle. It features rather a deep tread picture, which helps it deliver excellent traction while increasing its life span. It is aimed at use mainly with cargo trailers that have to drive long distances on a regular basis.
The tire benefits from a number of Sumitomo innovative technologies. It is made from special rubber compound that prevents from heat build-up, which in turn, minimizes tread wear and allows using this tire for long-term driving at a high speed.
The tire tread can be divided into two areas. The first one is central blocks separated by small grooves that enable efficient water drainage. This part of the tread maintains constant road-wheel contact and prevents from lateral skidding.

The latter completely remove water from under the contact patch area and provide for reliable grip on asphalt roads while on soft soil surfaces as well as on icy roads they act as lugs.
