Bridgestone Blizzak LM-35 Tire
|
Season: Winter Tires Car Type: passenger Description:
Bridgestone Blizzak LM-35 is a winter tire belonging to the company’s 2009/2010 line-up. The tire is aimed at providing for ultimate control over the vehicle it is mounted on, as well as at delivering maximum safety on wintertime roads. The tire is designed for a wide range of medium-duty family passenger cars.
The tire compound is molded into asymmetrical tread pattern to ensure quick and effective water evacuation from under the contact patch area as well as to provide for a short braking distance and predictable steering even on roads covered with thick water film.
Central rib is cut into a system of microsipes designed under the “3D Washboard and Slit” technology while the edges of ribs are made stiff, which provides for reliable traction on snow and on ice.
In comparison with its predecessor, Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25, this model features lower rolling resistance and hence allows reducing the amount of fuel consumed by your vehicle (fuel consumption is reduced by approximately 2.5 per cent). It also helps reduce CO2 emissions by 14 per cent, which makes it possible to call the tire eco-friendly.
The LM-35 tire comes in 16 and 17 sizes with V and H speed ratings.
