Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip GW-2 is a passenger tire designed for wintertime operation. It suits high-speed cars most as it ensures reliable handling and predictable steering on road surfaces typical of wintertime. It shows excellent performance under cold temperatures down to 7 Degrees Centigrade.

The tire compound is molded into directional tread picture with V-TRED patterned drainage grooves that quickly and effectively pump out water out of the contact patch area, which prevents your vehicle from hydroplaning on roads covered with water film.

The tire combines an innovative rubber compound with Goodyear 3D-BIS technology of three-dimensional siping. Tread blocks are covered with a thick network of sipes to provide for a great number of biting edges, which enhances traction on snow and ice.

Alongside with dense siping, the technology provides for tread blocks stiffness, which contributes to wet and dry performance.

The tire is equipped with a rim guard to protect pricy cast wheel disks from damage caused by accidental hitting. There’s also a winter indicator of tread wear to provide you with an ultimate means of controlling your tire wear level, which, in turn, makes your wintertime rides safer.
