Michelin XDA2+ Energy Tire
|
Season: All-Season Car Type: Truck Description:
Michelin XDA2+ Energy is a directional tire designed for driving axles of cargo-carrying vehicles. It belongs to the second-generation of long-haul tires and was improved to comply with modern requirements.
The tire comes in succession to the XDA 2 previous model. Its peculiarities include low rolling resistance, which results in your vehicle’s low fuel consumption and helps you save up to 6 percent of fuel. That’s why the tire is attractive to thrifty owners of commercial cars.
Low rolling resistance provides also for a long life span, which in conjunction with deeply cut tread picture and new rubber compound helps the tire deliver 35 per cent longer mileage than its predecessor.
The tire features a computer-designed tread picture, which helps evenly distribute load over the footprint area as well as reduces tire wear. It also enhances traction in the wet by approximately 7 per cent. As to the tire construction, the XDA2+ tire differs from its predecessor by the newly included rim guard that protects the rim in case of accidental curb hitting.
The tire can be recapped with the help of Michelin Remix technology that makes it possible to create a tire with the same durability, reliability and wear resistance as the original tire. So you get the same quality and performance for a considerably lower price tag.
